A vote for me is a vote for accountable leadership, clear results, and a community-first approach. I am action oriented and I deliver concrete results rather than empty political promises. I will utilize my military, local government, and legal expertise as a guide to successfully move our rural communities forward.

I served as a Combat Medic for the first 9 years of my military career, then as a Logistician (Budgeting/Supply) for the last 6 years. As a combat tested Veteran, I do not shy away from a fight; I will fight for rural water sustainability, I will fight for rural schools, I will fight for rural healthcare, and I will fight for rural infrastructure. Most of all, I will listen to my constituents rather than cowing down to peer pressure.

I have listed a few concerns that are shared by most, but there are many more. I am also very concerned about the way our state is addressing public and sacred lands, but my leadership experience has taught me that listening achieves more than talking, so I will leave you with this: tell me what is important to YOU. I will listen, then I will represent you at the Capitol.

District 30 is suffering from the most severe drought in recorded history, so water conservation and wildfire protections are at the immediate forefront. However, as I speak with families, farmers, and business owners across Bingham and Butte Counties, education funding, and rural healthcare access are equally imperative.

East Idaho’s agricultural economy relies completely on stable water access, which has faced severe regional challenges. I am unwavering in my commitment to protecting our agricultural economy by fighting for responsible water storage solutions and defending our local water rights against outside pressure.

District 30 schools have historically faced tight budgets regarding facilities, teachers, and special education allocation. This issue has been exacerbated by the passage of HB 93, which disproportionately benefits the wealthy, while cutting public school funding, and HB 516 which negatively impacts teachers’ unions. I will ensure our local schools, teachers, and students have the necessary resources to succeed. My focus is on repairing aging school infrastructure, fully funding special education, and expanding Career Technical Education (CTE) so our young people can gain valuable skills right here at home.

Managing health and welfare systems is a massive ongoing issue in the region, particularly programs like the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP), which was passed as a double-edged sword – RHTP was passed alongside massive Medicaid funding cuts, and doesn’t truly address the root causes of the rural healthcare crisis. The RHTP acts as an inadequate offset for our Nation’s massive Medicaid deficit. We must improve our rural healthcare systems with real, long-term solutions, rather than with these Band-Aids. I am focused on safely navigating Medicaid reform and cutting administrative red tape to ensure our rural families have reliable access to hi-quality, local medical care.

Idaho’s recent budget shortfalls were not an accident – they were the direct result of irresponsible policy choices that prioritized corporate tax giveaways over the needs of working Idaho families.

·  I will immediately fight to repeal the $50 million voucher and tax-credit schemes that divert public tax dollars out of our local schools and into private institutions. Our rural school districts deserve better.

·  I will push to roll back the aggressive tax cuts given to out-of-state corporations and the ultra-wealthy. We must ensure big corporations pay their fair share so we can fully fund our public schools and healthcare systems.

·  Instead of starving our state agencies, I will work to capture revenue that can be directly reinvested into expanding affordable housing, rural childcare initiatives, and sustainable property tax relief.

Every contribution makes a difference.
